Permanent Make Up

Permanent makeup (PMU) is a form of tattooing in which pigment is implanted into the upper layer of the skin, and can be applied using a variety of tattoo methods, including a traditional tattoo or coil machine, rotary or pen machine, and by hand. We offer a number of permanent makeup techniques that our internationally acclaimed therapists can assist you in selecting.

People that can benefit from PMU

Disabled People

People with physical disabilities or impaired motor skills, such as arthritis, Parkinson's disease/multiple sclerosis, may want permanent makeup because it's difficult for them to apply makeup themselves

People with Busy Schedules

People with busy schedules, long commutes and numerous commitments can save several minutes out of their morning routine each day.

People with Allergies

PMU is the solution for those allergic to conventional cosmetics, or have poor eyesight and conditions such as tremors or alopecia

A subtle, natural look, mimicking thousands of tiny eyelashes within the implantation of pigment in the lash line, is very popular with today’s modern lifestyle. Shadowing of color can be added for a soft, natural look, or if desired, a bolder more definitive line can be achieved.

If you are looking to enhance your brow line on a semi-permanent basis then you will be glad to know that Medinova offers the Japanese Eyebrow Embroidery method, were we weave amongst the existing hair for a soft and subtle enhancement of the brow.

Using an artists’ pen, fine strokes are penetrated into the skin using pre-measured surgical dots to ensure symmetry. The hair stroke technique mimics your own eyebrow hairs which creates a feathering effect.

Whilst undergoing the procedure, anesthetic is continually applied to decrease any pain or discomfort that you may feel.

If there is little to no hair then we use a three dimensional technique where darker and lighter pigments are used alongside one another to give a life-like appearance.
